Every child has something to say.
We help children communicate in ways that feel right for them.
Whether that's through words or a communication device. We deliver nurturing speech pathology support that fosters accessible, joyful, and authentic communication.
Who we Help
We have additional training to support children who have complex communication needs. If you're worried about how your child is communicating, or not yet communicating, you're in the right place.
The right support
Late talkers
Children who are slower to start talking than their peers or have difficulties understanding and following instructions. They might need extra support with their expressive and receptive language skills.
AAC users
Children who communicate using AAC systems including: electronic communication devices (including LAMP, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, Core First, PODD), PODD books, and alternative access methods (including eye gaze, auditory scanning, and visual scanning).
Unclear speech
Children who have motor speech difficulties, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech. We use evidence-based assessment and intervention tools to support their speech, including ReST, DTTC and Nuffield programs.

What we do
Our niche
We've chosen to focus on key areas of speech pathology support in our practice. Our team works with children in key areas where we can make the biggest difference for clients and their families.
Language development
Building the words, sentences, and understanding children need to express themselves and make sense of the world around them.
Speech clarity
Helping children speak more clearly so they can be understood by family, teachers and friends, not just the people who know them best.
AAC & communication devices
Supporting children to use alternative communication tools, including PODD systems and electronic speech-generating devices.
Play-based therapy
Using play, the way children learn best, as the foundation for building real, lasting communication skills.
What makes us different
Who we are
Here's why families choose us Explore Speech!
We focus on the areas we know best - so your child gets tailored support, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Parents and caregivers are central to what we do. Progress happens at home, not just in the clinic.
Words, signs, devices, pictures - all valid. We find what works for your child and build from there.
Home visits, school visits, clinic sessions - because communication happens everywhere.
Everything we do is grounded in current research. We keep learning so your child benefits from the best available approaches.
We're a small, close-knit practice. You'll notice the difference from your first contact.

A plan built around their needs
We create a therapy plan that's specific to your child not a generic program. We also share simple strategies you can use at home, at school, and in everyday moments.
We work together
You're never just an observer. We work alongside you throughout the process, celebrating every step forward together.
